The main features we used were the ranking reports, this works for both the business and the client, they can see where there websites rank by using this software. I found the Social part not that great and a bit limited, this was mainly because it only shows tweets, likes etc.
We found the Keyword Research tool (it uses the Google API, or is linked in some form) to be as useful as Google own keyword tool, both in terms of search volume and CPC etc.
The reporting side of things was ok, it has different reporting, and you can create your own with headers and footers etc. You can save your own, or upload in .html format to the web / your computer.
Overall this is a great product for the SEO company, and client who would want to see the end results.
A good suggestion for the makers of AWR would be to have a limited service that is free to use for clients only, lets say just a basic website rank option, this would then enable clients around the world to use this software to check a few websites they verify as there own.
The makers also have an Advanced Link Management service, unfortunatly we didn’t have time to test this, but would like to in the future.
